Trailers for books? Will wonders never cease? Of course with how popular the author's first book was that it is being turned into a full length movie it's not too surprising. Pride and Prejudice and Zombies took the horror genre for books by storm when it was released. It was able to bring in horror fans, Jane Austen fans, and a slew of casual readers who were also interested in the concept. It was a massive success and was mainly held in praise by all who read it. Hell as I mentioned above - it's not every day that a zombie filled piece of classic literature is so popular that there are plans to turn it into a movie but this one pulled it off.

Now the author, Seth Grahame-Smith, has returned with Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. This novel will tell us the true history of our sixteenth president and how he helped saved our society from vampires. This trailer will help give you an idea on how the novel itself will shape up and I'll be the first to admit that even with my recent distaste for vampires (*cough* Twilight *cough*) that I absolutely am looking forward to reading through this when it comes out.

While every Freddy Krueger fan will tell you that Robert Englund is the one and true Freddy - with every new trailer Jackie Earle Haley is looking to give him a run for his money. With taking out a bit of the 'funny' portion of Freddy's personality and replacing it with pure evil I think they may be on to something. Sure, Freddy has always been a 'funny' on screen demonic serial killer that infects everyone in their dreams but why was he burned alive in the first place? He killed children. He wasn't just your run of the mill serial killer he blatantly went out and only killed children.

That's the one thing I truly felt that the NOES always needed in many of the middle to later films - a true dark feel to it. We're watching a horror movie about a serial killer that kills children who comes back to life through dreams as a half-demon to kill more. With that as the premise the entire 'comedy' aspect is far too slapstick to feel that it fits with some of the plot elements. I'm excited to see where an all dark version of NOES goes and hope it lives up to fanbase's expectations.
